Anyone who wants to become a lawyer needs to sharpen their communication skills, analytical reasoning, and logical thinking. The non-bar JD program is an excellent alternative to their traditional JD degree for those who are interested in an education in law, but do not what the rigorous requirements associated with taking the bar exam.

In order to qualify for the non-bar JD program, you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the United States. Once you get accepted into the non-bar JD program, you can expect to finish it in three years. Unlike the four year JD program, the non-bar JD program only requires that you complete 72 units. After your first year in the program, you will be encouraged by your instructors to create a curriculum plan centered on your interests and needs.
