Experiential Learning Degree
You don’t have to sit in a classroom or bury yourself in books in order to gain the skills you need for the career you want. In fact, most of life’s valuable lessons are learned outside the classroom, through experience. This is called experiential learning.
Did you know that there are academic institutions who will give you college credits for what you have learned outside the classroom? An Experiential Learning Degree will allow you to complete your bachelor’s degree sooner than four years because you will be awarded credits for the work you have done, volunteer activities, and life experience. If your life and work experiences after high school are closely related to your academic goals, all you need to do is to have them verified with a letter of recommendation from a supervisor or a certificate from training. Compile your evidence in a portfolio and at the end of the term, a panel of faculty members will determine how much credit you will get from your experiences.
